L.Pank (born Murrays Village Saint Vincent & The Grenadines), is one of Soca/Dancehall newest upcoming artistes. He was born on the Islands mainland where he was first introduced to music by his uncle L.Pank later moved to Cane Garden in Sion Hill East Kingston . A past student of Bethel Secondary School ,L.Pank love affair with music continued. He performed for his peers at school, beating his fists in time on his desk and deejaying songs (he claimed he was the best in his class at this)before progressing to his own material. Known in his community for his underground dancehall music, L.Pank has been building his rep since 2005 With excellent reviews. With questions arising about his unusual moniker, L.Pank explained that he got the nickname from his friends,(he claimed it went from L.P to Pank to L.Pank) . As his popularity is still growing at a rapid rate this young up coming artist is a force to be reconned with L.Pank is now gearing up to for the upcoming carnival season where he has already voiced a plethora of soca songs. He has always approached his craft from a different perspective, not trodding the usual road of trying to voice on many rhythms in order to try and catch a break.
