The Band Of Heathens

The Band of Heathens have spent two decades ahead of the curve—blending sharp songwriting with a sound that’s since become mainstream. Formed in Austin in 2005, the band broke through in 2009 with their mix of country, rock, and soul. While members have shifted over the years, principal songwriters Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist remain the core, shaping the songs fans love worldwide. Their upcoming album, 'Country Sides' (Feb 2026), looks back at their journey with gratitude and clarity. True to their DIY roots, the Heathens continue to evolve, asking what the future holds while staying committed to making music that lasts. Their enduring impact is undeniable—2011’s “Hurricane” went gold and then platinum over a decade later -- proof that their songs keep finding new life.
