I played the drums all throughout middle school and high school and even grew up with a home studio in my basement. This has always been my life”
 - Don MyKel

 - Elliot Montanez (Lyrical Lemonade)

“A tried-and-true Harlem wordsmith, Mykel stands out because of his ability to fuse vintage with new-age. He makes music to keep himself on his toes, and exists outside the moniker of “your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper.”
 - Donna-Claire Chesman (Dj Booth)
Although MyKel has put in plenty of work into his craft, his career has only just begun. As we embark into a new decade and era, the Music Industry continues to evolve and so does Don MyKel. He continues to prove why he is more than just a wordsmith, but an Artist with the will to inspire.
