President Street are Melbourne and Perth based pop-fusion duo Ruby and Pete. Named after the street Pete grew up on in Perth, their music is influenced by their versatile musical upbringings from pop to RnB to rock. Frontwoman Ruby's honey-toned vocals, Pete's multi-instrumentalism and the duo's combined songwriting and production balance lyrical vulnerability and strength with infectious beats and hook filled pop melodies. They have also recorded and co-produced songs with the legendary Ash Howes (Kylie Minogue, 5 Seconds of Summer, One Direction) and John Reynolds (Sinéad O'Connor, U2, The Corrs). The duo have had 3 songs smash the Top 10 Official UK Music Week Charts and released 2 EPs. 2022 saw them complete a highly acclaimed national UK tour across the esteemed O2 Theatres in support of pop-rock-soul icon Roachford as well as tour dates in Germany. With extensive radio coverage across the UK they were also featured artists on the prestigious music program BBC The Beat.
