705

705 is a Nigerian-born, London-based artist and producer blending Afrobeats, Hip-Hop and R&B with storytelling rooted in real experience. Born in Surulere, Lagos and raised in London, his music connects the rhythm and soul of his Nigerian heritage with the directness and attitude of Hip-Hop. Influenced by Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Michael Jackson, 2Pac and 50 Cent, 705 has developed a sound built around substance, distinctive delivery and self-produced records. His journey has taken him from freestyle sessions in London to performing at venues including O2 Apollo Manchester in front of more than 1,500 people alongside acts such as Mafikizolo and Teni. His latest album, Oluwatosin, is his clearest statement yet — bringing together Afrobeats, rap, melody and personal storytelling in a body of work shaped by his Nigerian roots, London upbringing and evolution as an independent artist.
