Doina Bora

Doina Bora is a trained violinist from Bucharest, Romania. A graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest, she is a composer, string arranger, record producer, and mixing and mastering engineer. Alongside her passion for neoclassical works, she has a deep appreciation for traditional Celtic traditions, performing and recording extensively in both styles throughout her career. In addition to developing and publishing her own repertoire, Doina has collaborated as a string performer with numerous musicians across these musical worlds, contributing to a wide range of recordings and projects over the years. She is also the co-founder and label executive of Nephele Records, where she works closely with contemporary neoclassical composers and performers, supporting and promoting their creative output.
