Free song: join the Morella Records newsletter at morellarecords.com and pick your favorite Morella band. Vampire Valentine is a darkwave/post-punk band from Newcastle upon Tyne, formed in October 2025 by Michael Longstaff (vocals/producer) and Kieron Wright (bass), with Tobias Cowen Pickard (drums), Theo Pellegrino (guitar), and producers Ricky Conover (Forerunnerx) and Tony Gunk. Drawing on The Sisters of Mercy, Twin Tribes, She Past Away and Lebanon Hanover, they craft atmospheric darkwave that honors classic goth with modern production. Since debut single "Porcelain" (Nov 2025) came album "Dry Remains," a signing as Morella Records' first artist, the "Pale Dawn" EP (April 2026), a self-titled album (August 2026) and the "Scarred & Sacred" EP (October 25, 2026). Their first live show is November 13, opening for 1919 at Night Tyne Festival. "Excellent Debut" - Mick Mercer "A great statement of intent from artists who respect both the dark, and the light, elements of synth-pop." - NARC Magazine "The atmospheric synths, thumping drum machines and moody vocals are performed well." - GAN ON Magazine "Vampire Valentine don't manage to sound like a copy of their idols." - Orkus Magazine "Pale Dawn should be on everyone's Best of 2026." - NocturnaZine
