M.Cally's journey began in Monterey, CA, where he was born into a military family. At the tender age of two, he embarked on a journey that led him to Texas, ultimately shaping his musical destiny. His unique and soulful sound draws inspiration from legendary artists like Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, Charlie Wilson, and Stevie Wonder. Growing up, he was exposed to a rich spectrum of music by his father, nurturing his passion for melody and rhythm. During his musical evolution, M.Cally became an integral part of the Dallas/Ft.Worth Mass Choir, under the guidance of the esteemed Kirk Franklin. This experience honed his skills and added depth to his artistry. M.Cally's artistic journey took him to San Antonio, where he continued to flourish. Along the way, he had the privilege of sharing the stage with a multitude of major artists, including Mary J. Blige, Frankie Beverly and Maze, Guy, DRS, Monica, Jaheim, Ginuwine, and many others.
