Biography & Metadata

Zoë Xenia is a versatile Dutch electronic music producer renowned for her ability to fuse soulful vocals with underground club rhythms. Her signature sound is a hybrid of deep/tech house, breaks and techno, fuelled by funky rhythms, melodic chords and rolling basslines. Central to her identity is her voice; by using it as both a lead vocal and a rhythmic instrument, she creates a sound that is uniquely her own. Zoë describes her music as an "exchange of energy" and a universal language designed to connect directly with the listener's heart. Zoë Xenia's productions, collaborations and remixes have been released on iconic labels like Armada, Pacha, Toolroom, Connaisseur, BassCulture, Suara, Kling Klong and Tronic. Her debut album 'Heartbeat' on Plastic City perfectly captures her versatility; seamlessly blending atmospheric down-tempo and soul-infused electronic songs into deep house, minimal and tech-house. She initiated a creative partnership with Swedish techno veteran Cari Lekebusch, resulting in multiple EPs. As a vocalist Zoë Xenia featured on releases by Mathias Kaden, the vocal remake of dance classic '7 Days and One Week' from BBE and sang for Pacha records. Her deep roots in the scene were established through her work as an MC, performing at numerous clubs and festivals, an experience that honed her ability to connect with a crowd.
