SLFPRJCTN, also known as Self Projection, is an electronic dance music (EDM) producer and DJ based in Surabaya, Indonesia. He has been producing music since 2013 and started to DJ in 2022. From an early age, SLFPRJCTN was drawn to the sounds of electronic music. As a teenager, SLFPRJCTN started experimenting with music production software and soon discovered a talent for creating dynamic, energetic tracks that could fill dance floor’s and then he was trained under the guidance of famous DJ and Music Producer Mahesa Utara in 2021. SLFPRJCTN's music is highly influenced by Kpop, which has been a driving force in his creativity. SLFPRJCTN has a versatile approach to music, his music style is characterized by his signature sound of gritty basslines, hypnotic synths, and dynamic drum patterns. His music blends various sub-genres of EDM, including Kpop, Future Pop, Future House, Nu-Disco, Future Funk, Big Room, Electro, Progressive House, Bass House, Tech House, UK House, UK Garage, Breaks, Future Rave, Speed House, and Hardstyle to create his unique sound, immersive and danceable experience.
