Lalu

LALU is a progressive rock/metal act named after its keyboard player, and producer Vivien Lalu. Since its debut with Oniric Metal in 2005, the project has evolved into a collaborative musical family, bringing together musicians from across the progressive rock and metal scene. Built around cinematic atmospheres, powerful musicianship, and emotionally driven songwriting, LALU has featured contributions from members of Toto, Asia, Kansas, Dream Theater, and many others. Each album reflects a different chapter of the project, shaped not only by Vivien’s vision, but also by the personality and energy of the musicians involved. In 2026, LALU returns with A Mythmaker’s Demise via Frontiers Music, a new album celebrating 20 years of music, legacy, brotherhood, and human creativity.
