Doro Pesch is one of the most influential voices in rock and metal and widely known as the “Queen of Metal.” She began her career in the early 1980s with Snakebite, Beast and Attack before founding Warlock in 1983 — the band that brought her international fame and earned Gold status for Triumph And Agony in 1987. In 1989 she launched her solo career with the gold‑certified Force Majeure, followed by albums such as Doro, True at Heart, Angels Never Die, Love Me in Black, Calling the Wild, Fight, Warrior Soul, Fear No Evil, Raise Your Fist, Forever Warriors / Forever United and Conqueress – Forever Strong and Proud. Her next album Wild At Heart arrives in December 2026. She has collaborated with Gene Simmons, Lemmy Kilmister, Klaus Meine, Tarja Turunen, Uli Jon Roth and Rob Halford, and celebrated major milestones at Wacken Open Air, including her 25th, 30th and 40th anniversaries. Doro is vegan, wrote entrance themes for long‑time boxing world champion Regina Halmich, appeared in the film Anuk – The Path of the Warrior and hosted the WDR crime podcast Dunkle Seelen. She received numerous honors, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, an Echo, the Metal Goddess Legend Award, the Angel Of Rock Award and induction into the Hall Of Heavy Metal History. In 2024 she signed the Golden Book of Düsseldorf. Today she lives in Florida and New York and remains one of the most enduring and beloved artists in metal.
