Joshua ‘CHILLBILL’ Lewis is a 24-year-old recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He grew up in a musical family and started playing drums at the age of four. His church band, known for its rigour and discipline, is where Chill first developed his ear for music theory and his instinct for blending sounds and genres. He began releasing self-produced music in his late teens, building a reputation in St. Vincent for his harmonies and his refusal to sit neatly in one box. In 2025 he signed to Trincy Music, and their release ‘DahLayne’, featuring Jamaican heavyweights Tarrus Riley and IzyBeats alongside fellow Vincentians Skinny Fabulous and Kevin Lyttle, charted on iTunes Reggae charts across multiple countries, including a top 20 placement in the US. The record caught enough attention to earn Chill a nomination for Fusion Artist of the Year at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards. CHILLBILL’s distinguishable sound lives somewhere between dancehall, soca and Afrobeats, held together by vocals that carry the warmth of R&B and the unmistakable heartbeat of the Caribbean. His music is rooted in the islands but built without the ceiling that so often contains it, soca, dancehall and Afrobeats filtered through a sound that’s genuinely hard to place and easy to love.
