Long before Allie Teilz became TEILZ, she was building her life around music. At 13, she was working in a record store in her hometown of Phoenix, AZ, booking local shows and DJing them too. That obsession carried her to LA, where she joined the Embassy DJ collective and played storied rooms for guests like Prince, Daft Punk and Grace Jones. For years, Teilz was a connective thread between artists, sounds and scenes. In 2021 she launched VISIONS, bringing Kelly Lee Owens, Fred again.. and Desire into her world of left-field pop, disco, soul and club music. Now she’s stepping out from behind the booth. Her debut album, come to mommy made with longtime friends Nick Sylvester and Jorge Elbrecht, turns a lifetime of listening and dancing into something playful, sensual, strange and deeply personal. 17 flips the power dynamic on showbiz predators; tiger prowls through desire; double turns romantic chaos into a fizzy club anthem.
