Pooh Shiesty

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, rapper Pooh Shiesty has made his claim to fame with quick-witted lyrics and slick melodies that breakthrough airy beats. Hip-hop was undeniably in his blood growing up as the son of Memphis rap figure Mob Boss, and Pooh's early independent tracks quickly caught the attention of the masses, landing him his first record deal with 1017 Global and Atlantic Records in 2020. Shiesty's 2021 debut mixtape, now 2x Platinum SHIESTY SEASON, exploded to #1 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart, fueled by the 8x platinum hit "Back In Blood" (feat. Lil Durk) and earning him critical acclaim alongside a TV debut on The Tonight Show. Following a four-year hiatus, and earning more than 20 additional certified records, he made a triumphant return with his late-2025 single "FDO," which COMPLEX dubbed the “first major rap hit of 2026” as it debuted at #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Ultimately, “FDO” peaked at No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot 100, proving his rookie season is officially over.
