Binary Ensemble

Binary Ensemble is a duo project of two hardcore music lovers, musicians and DJs Sandip Sen and Deeptayan Banerjee from Kolkata, the City Of Joy in India. They have produced music in the array of Trance music, a sub-genre of Electronic Dance Music, and have garnered supports from DJs like Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Roger Shah, Johan Gielen, Dave Pearce, JES, Daniel Kandi, Allen Watts, Dan Stone, and many more. The project started in 2018 when Sandip and Deeptayan sat together and decided to create a musical story out of their utmost love for Trance music. Their debut track Bhaavna came out in early 2019 on Beyond The Stars Recordings and later on they went on to release more music on renowned record labels of the scene like Magic Island, Always Alive Recordings, AVA White, Regenerate Records, Blue Dot, HeavensGate etc. which includes originals, collaborations and remixes. They are known for their style of warm and subtle introduction to the story followed by a lush and mysterious breakdown, leading to the unexpected climax! They have also started working on progressive and psychedelic stuffs under different alias, more of which will follow in due course. Their music has also been featured in worldwide magazine like DJ Mag España & DJ Mag Germany. They also host a monthly radioshow known as "Hymnscape Radioshow" on every 3rd Sunday, from 15.00 CET onwards on Afterhours.FM.
