MODISTE

MODISTE is a new Synth Pop Trio based out of Louisville, KY. Using primarily vintage analog synthesizers, drum machines, & digital instruments, mostly from the 1980s-90s, they have a sound that is both eerily familiar yet also refreshingly novel. They rely on vintage tools to tell contemporary stories without ever falling into nostalgia cosplay. Their spellbinding live performance is an A/V lovers dream, featuring synced lights, CRT TVS, glitch visuals, props, and avant garde fashion, and is absolutely not to be missed. MODISTE is building a world of their own and creating a community through their fully immersive shows and inclusion of local photographers, seamstresses, designers, dancers, and videographers in their creative projects. MODISTE released their debut full length album August 7th 2026.
