Robert Kleeman

A public school educator, singer, drummer, and songwriter who lives music’s transformative power. The riffs, lyrics, and vocals are all mine, and I played live drums on many of the songs uploaded here. I am singing my life into a microphone and sharing deeply human music. I’ve been the drummer in a band playing after midnight to only the bartender and a cockroach infestation. My transformative musical moment: at age 5, seeing Phil Collins run around his carousel stage at Houston’s The Summit to play an athletic drum solo. I knew in that moment I wanted to do what he was doing. I write these songs in my apartment on a MIDI keyboard and bring them to life in the studio. Most of my favorite people don’t have a playlist vibe. If I like a song, I’ll play and share it with others. I invite you to do the same. One minute, I’m cranking Pantera at dangerous volume. The next, I’m listening to Gustavo Cerati, Miles Davis, or Bad Bunny. I’m not here to invent musical territory. I’m here to bare my soul and provide a soundtrack to our descent into madness. Please follow me, and let’s rock together.
