ThePsychpatient

Udechukwu Chukwuzitelu a.k.a The Psychpatient is a Nigerian born Artist who graduated from Igbinedion University Okada with a bachelors degree in Law(LLB) but chose to become an artist. Psych is the last son of a family of four children and his parents were both legal practitioners with his dad being a senior advocate of Nigeria. It was difficult to decide and navigate a career path heavily criticized by both the family and the society at the time. The persona “ThePsychpatient” is the outcome of such struggles. When all attempts to acquire a degree in production failed, Psych bought equipments and started developing himself as an artist producing his own songs. In 2020 Psych put together a group called “Mad five” but it only last a few months even though they made good music together including an EP called “Mad vibes”. In 2021 Psych partnered with his very close friend Toppyinz to create Psych Records Entertainment but had to wait until 2025 to put together a team with Suchin as the producer, Mallam Tafa as the artist manager and a few others. His art is driven by his reality and emotions, Lyrical and poetic, rhyme and reason. There are not many better with words..
