Red Shahan

Red Shahan is a West Texas singer-songwriter hailing from the South Plains, shaped by the songwriting fraternity of Lubbock and the hard lands of ranch hands, rodeo riders, and those who dare to make their living out on the edge. Across five albums, he has built a catalog rooted in rugged individualism and plain-spoken honesty, earning a devoted following and a reputation as one of Texas’s most distinctive voices. His music spans swaggering country rock and roll and ghostly desert-swept ballads, with character sketches drawn from the Llano Estacado to the Palo Duro. Whether channeling the restless rambler, the contemplative family man, or the introspective sage reckoning with loss and loyalty, Shahan writes through a lens that is always, unmistakably, his own. Recorded at 7 Pillars Studios in Cisco, TX with longtime friend and producer Josh Serrato(Koe Wetzel, William Clark Green), Shahan’s new music captures a crisp, organic warmth built on years of road-worn dedication. He has toured nationwide, including dates in support of Colter Wall, and his music has appeared on three of Taylor Sheridan’s hit television series’ Yellowstone, Landman, and Dutton Ranch. His Welcome To Country Hell 2026 Tour kicks off in September at the Caveman Music Festival in Las Animas County, Colorado, a three-day festival Shahan organizes and hosts annually. www.RedShahan.com
