AGU

AGU has been making music since the age of 12, starting with creating tracks for himself and producing for friends and other artists. From an early age, music became his way of communicating feelings and ideas that words couldn’t capture. Life, however, hasn’t always been kind to him. He spent many years battling substance abuse and faced some of his darkest moments. After stepping away from music during this time, he’s now on a journey of recovery, and music has become a vital part of that process. For him, creating is not just an art form but an emotional release—a way to make sense of the highs and lows of life. In addition to his artistry, AGU has honed his craft as a professional audio engineer, bringing both technical expertise and creative intuition to his work. This dual role allows him to shape his sound with precision and support others in realizing their musical visions. His influences span a wide spectrum, drawing inspiration from artists like IMANU, Flume, DROELOE, Quiet Bison, Brakence, Bring Me the Horizon, Culprate, Moody Good, and What So Not. You can hear traces of their innovation and emotional depth in his music, which fuses intricate soundscapes with raw, unfiltered emotion. Now, with renewed purpose and a lifetime of experiences to draw from, AGU is back—ready to share his story through sound. <3
