Biography & Metadata
The songs of Brazilian pianist Guilherme Veroneze have a calm and contemplative sonority. While the outside world often pressures us into a faster, more productive life filled with quick answers, Guilherme’s music is an invitation to pause. It’s a breath in these days with plenty of information’s noise and stimuli in all devices. His latest authorial album, Carpe Diem (2025), features songs that explore time as a metaphor for life, as well as an essential element in the act of making music itself. In 2025, he released the music video Solitude, featuring a grand piano integrated into the urban movement of downtown Juiz de Fora, the city where he lives. In 2024, he took the same piano to a green mountain range at Serra de Ibitipoca to record the video Entremares. Both are available on his Youtube channel. In April, he performed at the 2nd edition of Piano Revenge Festival, in Paris. Before that, Guilherme’s concerts took place at the MAMM (Museu de Arte Moderna Murilo Mendes), in 2025; at the Cine Theatro Central and the XXXV Festival Internacional de Música Colonial Brasileira e Música Antiga, all in Juiz de Fora in 2024. Last year his EP Shelter (2024) was the runner-up for Classical Album of the Year by the American website Solopiano.com. Um tempo (2021) was awarded the Best Classical Album of the year, by the same platform. His song Poema de Outono has reached more than 3M streams and other songs that has reached more than 1M on Spotify are: Frater and Opus 36.
