Pio Palumbo

Pio Palumbo is an Italian pianist, composer, and music producer. He began studying piano at the age of six and later discovered he had perfect pitch. He later deepened his musical knowledge as a largely self-taught composer, focusing on orchestration, modern piano, and music production, also attending international masterclasses in English. Since 2017, he has independently released a wide range of instrumental works, accumulating millions of streams and views across digital platforms. His music has been broadcast on over 50 Italian radio stations—both national and local—featured on television programs, and licensed for documentaries and video games. His repertoire includes original compositions and modern reinterpretations of classical works by composers such as Chopin, Beethoven, Satie, and Debussy, often arranged in felt piano style. Alongside his instrumental projects, since 2019 he has been writing and producing songs in both Italian and English. In 2021, he launched the collaborative project Arti Unite and worked with artists such as Antonio Forte, Fabio Natale, and Donato D’Elicio. In 2023, he wrote and produced several tracks for singer Edoardo Perrone, further expanding his work in the pop and crossover genres. Pio’s music was featured in the VR rhythm game Synth Riders in April 2025 and has been selected for Spotify editorial playlists such as Mentally I’m Here and A Rainy Night, affirming his presence in the contemporary classical and cinematic piano scene.
