Nikka Lorak

Nikka Lorak is a DJ and music producer whose sound blends cinematic storytelling with melodic and dynamic techno. With a background in film directing and fashion photography, she approaches music as a narrative medium, building tension, atmosphere, and emotional depth through carefully structured sets and productions. Her work is defined by contrast: melodic without sentimentality, powerful without excess, and immersive without spectacle. Raised between cultures, born to expat parents in Egypt and later growing up in Belgium, Nikka developed a global perspective early on. Her artistic path has taken her across London, the Mediterranean, India, and the Middle East, where she has become a recognizable presence within the region’s underground electronic scene. In 2025, she spoke at IMS Dubai, toured internationally, and continued to refine a sound shaped as much by place and movement as by discipline and restraint. As a producer, Nikka’s music explores emotional tension, psychological depth, and late-night club energy. Her releases, including Desire, reflect an evolving identity that balances introspection with drive. Alongside her productions, she curates the radio show Between Flights, an audio journal of life in transit. Focused on longevity and clarity rather than trends, Nikka Lorak is building a body of work that connects sound, story, and space.
