Liquid State

Fresh off their first European tour, Bristol based powerhouses Liquid State are back with their new single ‘Utopia’. Produced, mixed and mastered in house by guitarist Kray Zellinger-Mundy, ‘Utopia’ retains the melancholic, driving style that brought Liquid State to light whilst adding a range of softer and more mature elements which showcase the band’s range. Speaking to the message behind ‘Utopia’, vocalist Keren explains: “Relationships can be messy, and it’s easy to get caught up in the ‘what ifs’ instead of letting go. Nobody enters a relationship expecting it to end, but sometimes walking away is for the greater good.” With their last few singles garnering attention from the Spotify editorial team, landing placements on playlists such as ‘The Pit’ and ‘Shockwave’, ‘Utopia’ stands poised to repeat similar success. Having already performed across Europe this year and at hometown favourite venues such as the O2 Academy in Bristol, you can see that Liquid State are a band on the rise.
