Charlie Beale

Charlie Beale's fiery blend of vintage funk, swing, jazz and delta blues, all given a 21st Century shot in the arm, first gained him recognition with releases such as BREAKIN' DOWN BLUES EP (2015).  A decade later, his music which first contributed to the emergence of an Electro Blues scene, has been streamed upwards of 15 MILLION times. Charlie's tunes are often in prime position on Spotify's own Bluestronica playlist, on compilation albums and around the UK Festival circuit. His DEJA BOOZE EP (2015) followed with further spots on the ELECTRO BLUES compilations from Freshly Squeezed. Charlie then intermittently released a series of bootlegs and various funk-based records while travelling the world.  In 2024 he returned to Freshly Squeezed with a new country infused EP that gave a further twist to the tale. In 2025 he released Bluestronic, continuing to evolve his sound, and taking inspiration from the old blues masters. Over 10 years since his debut EP, Charlie released his debut album on Freshly Squeezed in April 2026. STEADY ROLLING is an amalgamation of everything we love about Charlie's music, and most definitely worth the wait. The album has seen radio play in the deepest corners of the world, from the USA and South America to Europe and the Middle East. He's gone from Breakin' Down Blues to Breakin' Down Borders!
