Biography & Metadata

Kenyon Dixon is a five-time GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter, and one of the leading voices in modern R&B. Known for his smooth vocals and timeless songwriting, the Los Angeles native has built a reputation for blending classic soul with contemporary R&B. Dixon first made his mark behind the scenes working with artists such as Tank, Tyrese, and Faith Evans, while also lending his voice to projects with Nick Jonas, Jill Scott, and Kirk Franklin. As a solo artist, he’s released critically acclaimed projects including Expectations, Closer, and The R&B You Love, earning GRAMMY nominations for songs like “Lucky” and “Can I Have This Groove.” His latest project, Come As You Are — a collaborative album with acclaimed producer Terrace Martin — earned two 2026 GRAMMY nominations, including Best Progressive R&B Album and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “WE MAJ” featuring Rapsody. Beyond his own releases, Dixon’s songwriting and vocal work can be heard across the industry. He co-wrote multiple songs on Justin Timberlake’s album Everything I Thought It Was, contributed to the ICU Remix for Coco Jones, and continues to shape the sound of modern R&B. With a sound rooted in soul, honesty, and timeless storytelling, Kenyon Dixon is helping define the future of R&B.
