Ida Alex is a Finnish-Scandinavian artist and songwriter creating a dark pop heaven for those seeking a safe space to feel deeply, heal their wounds, and step into their highest self. At the heart of her artistry lies a devotion to the inner world: honoring vulnerability and the sacredness of every individual story. Through haunting melodies, dramatic storytelling, and soulful dark pop productions, Ida Alex crafts songs that feel both intimate and expansive, like stepping into a dark, glowing sanctuary of sound. Inspired by icons such as Lady Gaga and artists like Halsey and Valencia Grace, she is making her own path from Finland to the global stage. In 2022, Ida Alex released her debut EP Free Woman, which gained international recognition in publications including Popmuzik (Sweden, 2023) and Lefuturewave (Netherlands, 2021). Following the release, she joined a collaboration featuring 11 female artists, which brought them to Finland’s biggest festival stages and earned them the 2024 Indie Award for Song of the Year. Deeply committed to building a full pop career on an international level, Ida Alex also appeared in British singer-songwriter RAYE’s MTV Music Video Awards-winning music video Genesis, filmed in London in 2024.
