Abubakar Ishaq Abiodun, professionally known as Cityman, is a fast-rising Nigerian artist born in Lagos on December 16, 1998. He began his music journey in 2016 by releasing captivating covers before transitioning into original music. Cityman gained attention with his debut single “Sisi Maria” featuring FJB in 2019, leading to collaborations with artists including Thaa Prinze, Seyi Vibez, WIZKA, LYTA, and more. His 2021 EP “Out Of The Ghetto” introduced listeners to his unique sound and marked a major step in his career. He continued building momentum with releases like “GRIND” (2023), “My Life” and “Celebrate” (2024), and “YOLO” featuring WIZKA (2025). In 2026, Cityman released “Pami Baby” featuring LYTA, a vibrant track blending infectious melodies with smooth vocals, further showcasing his evolving artistry and growing presence in the Nigerian music scene.
