Biography & Metadata

Stephen Sims is a Singer/Composer/Producer from the UK. He started his career in music at 17 and has been recording and performing internationally for the last 11 years. His love of contemporary and classical music can be heard through his solo work. With a real focus on melody and harmonies in his writing and recordings. When he's not releasing his own music, Stephen can be heard as a featured vocalist and writer on multiple recordings with- Angerwolf - Sam Simmon - Curtis Richardson - Tezerax - VideoHelper - Made:IT - Sybrid - Ian Storm - Michael Ford - Arzenn - Hypnostar - Miss Tara - Infinite Lemons - Saiful Idris - Steve Crawford As a composer and producer, he has collaborated with artists in many genres. His film and TV work scoring him awards internationally. In 2016 he wrote and recorded a commissioned piece for Daniel Mulloys' powerful short 'Home' (Bafta Short '17) - Give It Away. This followed by a sync on The Handmaid's Tale S1 and WWE - Amazing Disgrace (Main) [feat. Joseph Saba, Stewart Winter & Stephen Sims]. In 2018 Stephen won his first award as a composer at the Auckland International Film Festival for his score for 'Presentiment'. This was followed in 2019 by the feature film 'No Turning Back' where Sims was awarded best score and song (Florence Film Festival/Royal Wolf Film Awards). 2019 Stephen released Don't Go a cover of the Yazoo classic. This was followed by Fix Me in the same year.
