Jem Cubil

Jem Cubil was first known from singing competitions in the Philippines like PGT Season 2 (2011) and The Voice PH Season 2 (2015), he was 16 years old when he started; a teenager who wanted to boost his confidence 
in performing. These shows opened many doors for him not just as a singer but as an actor/print-ad model as well. For awhile, he ventured into acting but he knew that music has always been the core of who he is as an artist and over the years, his love for music and his overall musicality have evolved from singing covers to focusing more on singing and song-writing. His music now as he describes it is a mixture of folk, pop, soul, contemporary, and a bit of alternative tones, a combination of everything he listens to and everything he has gathered since he started falling in love with art. He believes in the healing power of music and song-writing is just like story telling. He hopes that his stories, through the melodies and the lyrics he writes, can bring light to those who are lost in the dark. Jem Cubil has finally found himself after years of searching for his own voice, for his identity and purpose. He has found them all in God.
