Tenci

Tenci is your mom’s favorite artist. A 24-year-old indie pop artist from Maryland, Tenci has been making music since she was a kid—but it wasn’t until recently that she decided to take a risk and fully pursue her art. Drawing inspiration from artists like beabadoobee, Dominic Fike, and Jean Dawson, she blends dreamy melodies with raw, expressive lyricism to craft a sound that’s entirely her own. Tenci doesn’t believe in boxes. As a Black indie artist, her goal is to explore, experiment, and create without limits. She makes music for herself first—honest and unfiltered—and hopes that others find their own meanings in her songs. Whether it’s comfort, connection, or just a better day, her music is here for you, however you need it
