El cantautor y compositor Lua Monkey nacido en Jerez de la Frontera proviene de una familia flamenca. Sus influencias musicales fueron de diferentes estilos como Rap, Reggaetón , latín, Salsa, Música Urbana y Flamenco. Comenzó su carrera con su grupo Gipsy Rappers, formado por dos amigos más de la infancia destacando el Rap por Bulerías con un estilo propio, compartiendo escenario con artistas como: Diego Carrasco, Juanito Makande, Ané Carrasco, Tomasito, El Canijo de Jerez, Haze, Macaco, Manuel Cortés, Nolasco, etc... Hoy en día Lua Monkey sigue su camino con nuevos proyectos artísticos.
