Tisante

As of 2025–2026, Tisante, born Timothy Joshua St. Aubyn Hewitt in Toronto, Canada in 2005, was unheard of, unknown, and, quite frankly, irrelevant. FOR THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW, Tisante began making beats and writing songs before he ever had a microphone to record with. During quarantine in March 2020, one of his idols, Travis Scott, released a YouTube video showing himself creating a beat from scratch. That video inspired Tisante to begin the journey that ultimately led to you reading this. In 2025, he released several records and mixtapes, including Third Line and WISH U WERE HERE, as he worked to find his sound and follow in the footsteps of his heroes, J. Cole and Drake, similar to their “Room for Improvement” and “The Come Up” eras. In June 2026, he released his debut album, BECOMING TISANTE, an introduction to who he wanted to become and a refinement of his sound. The album was never intended to represent a finished world. Its title reflects his ongoing becoming—the work he has put in to create the artist you hear today and the artist he hopes to become tomorrow. BECOMING TISANTE is both a reflection of his journey so far and a tribute to the greatness he believes his name will carry as he continues to grow into a music icon.
