Sodie is spotlighted as one of DJ Mag's "Eight Emerging Artists You Need to Hear" (May 2024) as the singer and co-writer of indie duo scarlet veil. A classically trained vocalist and top-liner, Sodie has featured on releases from Suburban Base, Darkshire Sound, Valkeryie, STONX Music, Portal, Manifest, Lizplay, and Brightest Dark Place, collaborating with producers including Stonx, Sindicate, DRKNET, Dan Guidance, DIMOD, DØSHI, Stillhead, and Diligent Fingers (Spynal Records) across drum and bass, EDM, and bass music. Among her longest-running creative partnerships are m00seT and WARLOK, the latter also her partner and co-writer in scarlet veil. She's currently in the studio with several producers on new neurofunk, dancefloor, and liquid drum and bass material, as well as a forthcoming scarlet veil album. A DJ for over 25 years, Sodie's roots trace back to Utah's early-2000s underground rave and breakbeat/drum & bass scene, where she cut her teeth behind decks before building a career that's carried her through festival, club, and online stages ever since. She streams live sets regularly on Twitch as a member of the SKY BASS and United by Breakbeat crews. In 2003, she co-founded the Priss Collective, Salt Lake City's all-female DJ collective supporting women in electronic music - a mission she continues to champion today.
