BiBo De Hero

BIBO De HERO is an artist with a voice that cannot be missed. He hails all the way from Chiawelo in Soweto. His name BIBO is from his days as a football player, and because of his artistry and rhyming skills, when venturing into music he wanted something that would rhyme with it, and then BIBO De HERO was born. As a youngin', growing up in South Africa, he has been influenced by the genres of music that originate from this beautiful country such as Kwaito and Gqom. While the likes of TKZee, Big Nuz and Distruction Boyz have been his favourites, the Amapiano siege that has taken over South Africa and soon the world cannot be ignored when coming to its influence on BIBO. As a Amapiano artist BIBO De HERO has been inspired by the likes of Reece Madlisa, Zuma and the late Mpura. To enhance his skills in his craft, BIBO De HERO has partnered with local artists and producers from his Soweto neighborhood, including JKeyz SA, On 'Ndaba Zay Zolo'; Kyle ThirtyEight on 'Shelela', and DJ Big Sky on 'Ok'salayo (Siyajola)'. The unofficial remix of 'Phez' Kwemdu' by Mr JazziQ, featuring collaboration from BIBO De HERO, Sponch Makhekhe, and Dedela Movement, has become social media phenomenon, garnering hundreds of thousands of interactions.
