Jahaan Shah

Singer/songwriter and record producer Jahaan Shah’s diverse catalogue carries weight: Memory landed on Spotify's Rock In India editorial playlist. More (Edit) crossed a million streams and still rotates on Romanian and Indian radio. He wrote the title theme and original score for the feature film Safed (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). His sound has an alt-pop and indie-rock core, with a downtempo/shoegaze quality in his more atmospheric tracks like Dance With Me Slowly and Close To Me. He grew up on his father's 80s new wave and alternative rock, in a family where music was already a legacy. His grandfather produced the film Shalimar (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). Born in Mumbai, raised in Pune, and graduated from the Berklee College of Music, he has spent time between Boston, New York, and Valencia before returning to where it all started.
