Darkroot

In Norse mythology, there are tales of Yggdrasil,the world tree, a symbol of all life. Deep within it's sprawling roots dwells an ancient dragon, feasting upon its life force. Much like Yggdrasil, each person carries unseen burdens, traumas, and shadows within the depths of their mind. As we cannot always detect the decay within a tree from its surface, so too are theinner struggles of a person often hidden within the roots of their subconscious. DARKROOT is a metaphor for this deepest level of the subconscious. It is where our fears, traumas, and battles lie in waiting, —manifesting in ways that speak directly to us. Bringing these voices to life are Christian Reinsborg (vocals, guitars, and bass) and Eivind Skogheim (drums). DARKROOT is both a journey and a mirror for the transformative experience of psychotherapy, inviting listeners to confront what plagues us within. While our lyrics aim to illuminate mental health struggles, our music is crafted to engage and captivate. Join us as we embrace our dark roots and seek light within.
