Kate Pending

Berlin-based electronic artist Kate Pending emerged with her debut full-length album Pigmented Reality in May 2024, unveiling an immersive audio tapestry with elements of ethereal electropop, shimmering synthscapes, textured beats and dreamy vocals. The album earned acclaim for its genre-fusing palette, drawing comparisons to acts like Little Dragon, Elder Island and Christian Löffler. Since then, Kate has collaborated on singles with producers and artists including ROBSON DARKER, Ambitstream, VOID LOOP ( ) and CRLCC , exploring everything from experimental ambient tracks to progressive melodic house. The collaborative evolution continued with Tomorrow’s Dreams of Yesterday, a joint album with Frankfurt-based producer Luke Tangerine, released in May 2025. Their creative synergy brings together analog warmth, retro-futuristic textures and euphoric dancefloor energy. The result is a blend of nostalgic synthwave, hypnotic grooves and funky vibes. Now, with her latest project, the Two Words EP, Kate returns to the roots of spontaneous collaboration — five tracks born from an annual creative retreat among friends, each reflecting a different constellation of voices and styles. Blending breaks, future garage, deep house, and ambient electronica, Two Words captures the essence of connection, experimentation, and sound shared among friends.
