Damel "Propa Way" Christopher is a Grenadian music producer and artist. His passion for music was sparked at just 7 years old, after witnessing his mother perform live for the first time—an unforgettable moment that planted the seed for his musical journey. By age 16, Propa Way was already self-recording, driven by the challenges of accessing beats and studio time as a young, aspiring artist. These obstacles led him to dive deeper into music production, learning to record, mix, and master tracks—not just for himself, but for close friends who shared his passion for music. Connecting with Wuss Wayz Empire and Dutty Life, a pivotal moment that helped bring his production skills to the forefront. Soon, his beats were dominating the streets and airwaves, and artists from across the region began seeking him out. Propa Way’s signature sound and relentless work ethic earned him the opportunity to produce for major Caribbean acts, including: Skinny fabulous & Lil Natty & Thunda - Location Kalifah – Grand Anse Grand Anse Rabulous – Farmer (which won Road March) Dash – The Tape (winning both Soca Monarch and Road March) Just to name a few. Propa Way continues to develop his sound and craft, combining raw talent with self-made skill, carving a lane in Caribbean music from the ground up and always reppin his community and parish "Requin, St. David's".
