Since debuting in 2019 with his LP Hypo Negative, TuMaggz has become an irrefutable force in the underground hip-hop landscape. Finding his initial momentum with “GUT$” TuMaggz was an integral founding member of collective Hellhound Militia, which proved itself as a whirlwind of creative energy from the Pacific Northwest from 2019 to 2021. The Portland native rapper, producer, and engineer has collaborated with dozens of additional peers including Sect Unit, Witchouse 40k, Blckbrd, JMattson, Ak3k, Mvko, Mobbs Radical and more. As a Multi-Instrumentalist, having a decade long resume of playing in metal bands before rap, and as well as being a seasoned audio engineer/producer, he prides himself on being self sufficient and experienced in every step of the production process and continues to hand craft his music since he has since day one. His trademark emotional vulnerability and genuineness continue to connect with fans, and songs like “As Above, So Below” have expanded a movement of similar sounds from contemporaries. There has never been a better time in hip-hop for an artist like TuMaggz to rise.
