Buddy Wynkoop

Buddy Wynkoop is a six-piece art-punk band from Portland, Oregon, known for turning chaos into catharsis. With shout-sung vocals, jagged guitars, and spoken-word spirals, they channel the anxious pulse of modern life into something wild, weird, and unforgettable. Their sound is a whirlwind of frenetic riffs, lurching rhythms, and biting humor—equal parts cerebral and unhinged. On stage, Buddy Wynkoop is pure electricity. Their explosive live shows blur the line between performance art and punk ritual, earning them a cult following and a reputation as one of Portland’s most vital acts. Loud, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore—this is a band you feel.
