Quibus

With his moniker Quibus, Martijn Holtslag (1992, NL) creates atmospheric sound-dreams that will take you on a trip on a meditiation through your own imagination. Airy guitarmelodies, analog synths, mystic violin echo’s, soothing trumpet details, deep basslines and minimalistic, alienating vocals. A voyage that puts a spell on you as much as it makes you want to move. Besides producing Holtslag had the desire to play his compositions with a live band. Quibus remixed Petter Carlsen, The Benelux, MSNTHRPHX and GOSTO, and music and videos have been premiered at Noisey, Vice, Thump and DJMAG, Gonzo Circus and Fuzz Magazine.Besides that Quibus played at De Wereld Draait Door (The Netherlands biggest TV show that features music).
