Songs by Trynket feel like a diary cracked open under a sunlit window — intimate, unfiltered, and creatively pulsing with resilience as she invites you into her world of both personal experiences and imaginative stories. Born in tropical Cebu, Philippines and now based in New Mexico, Trynket weaves addicting piano-driven melodies with raw lyricism, often written and recorded straight from her bedroom. Her refreshingly unique pop tunes move fluidly between the jagged edges of love and loss, sometimes with playful twists, but at the heart of much of her work are anthems of empowerment for women. Since her first piano lesson at age five, Trynket discovered healing through music, evolving into a bridge that connects her with others. This bridge led her to major stages in 2023, including opening for Philippines superstar Vina Morales at the Grand Theater in Anaheim and Philippines’ very own “King of R&B” Jay R at the Garden Amphitheater in Garden Grove. In 2024, Trynket was then selected as an official SXSW artist in Austin where she opened for hip-hop headliner Jennaske. Unafraid to explore or bend genres, Trynket is known by her fans for radiating this bold, versatile energy through her magnetic stage presence which has lit up legendary venues such as Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room, and The Hotel Cafe. Now back in the studio, Trynket is currently crafting more collaborations and projects that promise to push her artistry into further exciting new territory. - C. Gepret
