Career, Edward E. Bello Pou, better known by his stage name, El Cata - El Patrón (Composer and Musical Producer), born in Barahona City, in the Dominican Republic, on dic. 5th, 1982. Pioneer of the genre and urban fusion "Mambo" (merengue electrónico with hip hop) The artist emerged at an early age in the music scene while raised in New York, USA. Early life, Bello spent most of his time writing songs during high school classes and as well since his very early age at elementary school from Puerto Rico, Miami, and New York City. Discography In 2008 four of his releases became world hits impacting the international industry achieving the crossover and several important collaborations. El Cata’s hits such as, "I Know You Want Me" for Pitbull, "Loca", "Rabiosa", "Addicted to You" for Shakira, among others have reached nominations from Grammys, Premios Juventud, to double platinum's. Since then, the artist has remained in the international popular taste. El Cata also has a wide repertoire of collaborations with artists such as, Drake, Gente De Zona, Wy Clef Jean, Gloria Estefan, Juan Magan, Yuri (Mexico), Kat De Luna, Elvis Crespo, among others.
