Xowié

Hailing from KwaZulu-Natal, Xowié’s music is shaped by an eclectic mix of influences, from R&B and Pop to Reggae, all of which fueled her passion for storytelling through song. Inspired by iconic voices like Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, and Lauryn Hill, as well as contemporary stars SZA, Victoria Monét, and Raye, her work explores themes of self-confidence, body positivity, and love. Rooted in the values instilled by her deeply religious grandmother and mother, Xowié aims to empower Black women—especially those from townships—to dream beyond their circumstances. Her breakout single, "Rainy Days," introduced her as a rising force in R&B/Soul, paving the way for signing with Exodus Records. Now, with "Nobody’s Fool" and her debut EP ALLO, Xowié solidifies her place as a bold, unapologetically authentic voice in today’s music industry—one that fearlessly embraces both the personal and the universal in her artistry.
