Born May 12, 2000, in Osaka, Japan Singer-songwriter / Dancer / Choreographer / Producer Taking charge of everything from songwriting and composition to choreography, he is a bilingual artist in Japanese and English who continues to reach global audiences with his dynamic dance performances and captivating vocals. As a leading global artist of Generation Z, he brings a distinctive presence to the international stage. His 2024 release “Obsessed” became a global viral hit, gaining traction across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. On TikTok in particular, the track sparked widespread attention as popular artists posted dance challenge videos. The song garnered both domestic and international recognition and earned the “Special Award” at the 66th Japan Record Awards, further establishing Ayumu Imazu’s global presence. In addition to his own releases, Ayumu has actively contributed as a songwriter and collaborator. His works include “Theater” and “moooove!!” by King & Prince, as well as “BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu)” by TWS, where he participated not only as a songwriter but also as a featured artist.
