Chivo XVI

Chivo XVI is an emerging música Mexicana artist raised in North Carolina with deep roots in Guadalajara. Inspired early by his father’s norteño group, he has been immersed in music for nearly two decades, mastering instruments, directing choirs, and eventually stepping into his own artistry. Blending Mexican tradition with a fresh urban style, Chivo XVI makes music rooted in family, resilience, and cultural pride. He co-wrote the breakthrough track “La Durango” with Peso Pluma, a historic song featured on the ÉXODO Tour, where Chivo XVI also joined performances across major U.S. arenas. His own single “El Nesquick” further showcased his raw voice and modern edge, helping define the genre’s new wave. Now signed to Prajin Parlay and Double P Records, Chivo XVI is poised for a breakout year and determined to take his sound to global audiences while staying true to his heritage.
