Epoca22

Epoca22 are an Italian post-punk band blending lyric-driven urban songwriting with sharp guitar lines, reverb-heavy drums and propulsive bass riffs. Their sound nods to British post-punk and darkwave, but with a distinctly contemporary edge. Their songs read like street anthems, using vivid imagery to portray scarred cities, social division, inequality, violence and poverty — but also flashes of hope and redemption. In October 2024, the band released their debut album La Città Radiosa, a record rooted in new wave. In December 2025, they put out a DIY EP on Bandcamp as part of the Angry Youth – Scrontry project curated by the Malinconia Fumogeno collective. Later that month, they released the EP Dicembre, distributed by Altafonte Italia.
