Born Ayibaifiye Benjamin Ayibakuro, professionally known as Myron, he hails from Southern Ijaw in Bayelsa State but was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Growing up on the south side, Myron’s artistry was shaped by his environment and personal experiences, which now serve as the foundation of his sound. Myron’s music is deeply reflective, drawing from his lived experiences as a south-side teenager. Through each record, he invites listeners into a vivid journey shaped by emotion, melody, and atmosphere. His sound is fluid and versatile—much like water—able to adapt to any form while still preserving its originality and core identity. In 2024, Myron released his debut EP Love or Lust, which garnered significant attention and critical acclaim, showcasing his distinct voice and artistic direction. With a growing presence and undeniable talent, Myron stands as an artist to watch, steadily reaching new milestones in his evolving career.
